A journal of La-Di-Da for hifalutin people who want to memorialize their accomplishments on paper...or, just for normal folks who like to write their thoughts in journals.
Size: 11" x 8" x 2", three signatures, 170 pages. Heavy.
Theme journals are fun to create. This is a journal of la-di-da people and thoughts and a few other things. No Annie Hall, though-- but I did consider it.
Inside are blank tea-dyed pages, pretty scrapbook papers, vintage flower bouquet art prints, other very old art prints--including the cover, vintage Audubon bird prints, pockets filled with ephemera, rubber stamping, my eco-dyed book pages and papers, Tim Holtz photo cards, vintage vocabulary cards, pages from old books, greeting cards, postcards, a napkin transfer, and more. All of these pages are contained in three signatures that have been sewn into the spine. The book itself was made from scratch on sale, using recycled chipboard covered with my hand dyed fabric, glued on with matte medium. The script La-Di-Da is a handmade 'decal' I created, glued on with matte medium. A bit of gold metallic paint was added here and there for interest.
