Vintage on sale Plaster Boy in the Wheat Field Statue

on sale This little guy is fabulous. I saw him as I was leaving a sale and he caught my eye. From what I know he may be from France or Italy.
Study him and you will be amazed at the detail. He is leaning on what looks like stacks of wheat. He is wearing a floppy hat and is bear-foot. All detail makes you want to keep looking at him for some new mystery to be told. The folds of his shirt feel/look real. pretty amazing.
Here is the hard part, his arm was repaired with great love, and the bottom felt which probably showed the company is no longer there. There are no markings that I can see. It would be a purchase purely because you have in mind the perfect spot for him in your home.

He is a bit rugged, but worth every penny.
