on sale This is a rustic large bentwood cheese box handmade & painted circa 1970s in Pennsylvania. The box depicts an Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch couple with rosemaling patterns on her dress and around the heart. The large box also has hand painted hearts the entire way around the box. This is s wonderful piece of folk art that would make excellent storage space as well as a decorative piece for almost anywhere in your home. Measures: 15.5 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall. There is one nail on the inside top that wasn't placed correctly and sticks out, otherwise, excellent condition.
