Rare Vintage Boswell Basset Hound Figurine. No chips, cracks. Beautiful high gloss finish. The Boswell Basset Hound figurines have a rich history, and are a very rare find. They are based on the popular book 'Boswell, Life of Boswell' written by Evelyn Leavens, and published by Simon & Schuster on sale in January 1958. This figurine is beautiful and in immaculate condition. After careful examination I found no chips or cracks, only the expected tiny flaws created during manufacture (for example: tiny spots at edge where the gloss didn't completely coat the painted surface) that are normal to find on these types of vintage pieces.
