AWESOME vintage piece of history! 1930's Art Deco Black Rotary Dial desk monophone. What a beauty! Step up your retro home decor by adding this to your entryway table, office desk or sofa table. Perhaps you'd prefer to delight your overnight friends by placing on the bedside table in your guest bedroom. These collectibles are also often used as movie props or as a background prop for picture advertising. All original & made of Bakelite. Just needs a good buffing. It has been tested w/semichrome polish that confirmed it is made of Bakelite. Solid & heavy. Definitely made to last a lifetime. The design screams Art Deco & its just shy a few years of being considered a genuine antique. Yep, it's pushing 100 years old! It was in excellent working order the last time it was used but it has been packed away for on sale a good while. We no longer have a phone line to test so we'll have to sell as is. These are getting harder to find which has caused the prices to skyrocket. I'm offering it wel.
