1940s Blue printed seersucker cotton shirred sundress on sale / 40s red orange floral wildflower fruit print summer day dress - S

A gorgeous lightweight 1940s sun dress in rich blue seersucker on sale cotton, printed with stylised florals in burgundy red, yellow, orange, green, and white. Semi fitted bodice with wide shoulder straps and bust ‘cuff', with (quite short) metal zip to side. The waist is shirred with elastic, and skirt is gathered with nice fullness.

Excellent condition, ghost stitch dots to either side of bodice from previous alteration but otherwise nothing to note.
