American soldiers who visited Thailand in the mid-20th century bought this jewelry for their ladies back home, making it a popular mid-century trend. This pendant features Mekhala, who is typically depicted with a crystal in her hand, with radiating lightning bolts. Brooch measures 3 inches tall, including the bail and 1 3/4 inches wide and weighs 11 grams. PLEASE NOTE: I have not polished this pendant a lot, just wiped it off with a polishing cloth.
