Vintage Italian Majolica 3 pcs Bowl Candle Holders Applied Grapes Leaves Turquoise Purple White.

The bowl has a fluted rim and a beautiful aqua turquoise drip glazed interior. The exterior of the bowl has banded ridge form with on sale applied purple grapes and green leaves and vine motif on one side - the reverse side is plain. It measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and is 3 1/2 inches tall. It weighs 1.15 lbs unboxed.

The candle holders share the same fluted rim shape and applied grapes as the bowl - they measure 3 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter on the upper rim, and 3 5/8 inches on the base. The candleholder opening measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter. They weigh 14 ounces each, unboxed.

All three pieces are marked Italy 8038.

Condition: All three pieces have tiny flakes and chips in the glaze. One the bowl, there is a flake on the side of the last grape on the bottom. There is also an uneven/missing glaze in spots on the reverse side near the upper rim.

One candle holder is missing one of the applied leaves - please see the close-up image. This same candle holder also has a flaw or possible repair to the center mounting - it is not in the original position and exposes the unglazed dark clay material beneath.
