He is laughing and the border is a black and white checkerboard. Its hand painted.It is the canvas only no guide, threads, or floss is included.He measures 14"x11" on the painted area and the whole canvas measures 17"x14". Has a makers marking which hard to read I think it says A.A. 9. No holes or tears at the very edge some pull threads. Very minimal age spots still very bright in color and it has wrinkles from being folded stored. Gorgeous piece. Will ship folded since it was already folded. Photos on sale taken in natural light.
A quick google search term for the fold creases to remove them is "Best way to remove creases from canvas" there is instructions on how to remove the creases. Again it will ship folded since it was stored folded, from my mothers estate.
