Vintage Large Italian Style Ginger Jar Lamp Base, Ceramic / Majolica Table Lamp Base (No Shade).

Decorated with Italian style Rafaelesque flourishes and the word "Camphora" (not sure what the significance is) and 'aged' with a sienna tinted glaze wash.

Good vintage condition. The wood base is damaged (some pieces chipped off), but it has been stained to match and the damage is not obvious. No harp, but there is a harp adaptor piece, so any harp could be added (harps just clip onto the adaptor and can be purchased at any home store or hardware store, and come in various on sale sizes depending on the size of the shade). The socket supports a 'regular' bulb or a 3-way bulb. The wiring is old - you may want to replace it)

About 21 1/2" from base to top of socket; Quite heavy - almost 10 lbs. Apologies in advance for shipping costs - this is a large item and costly to ship, especially if you live far from the northeast coast.
