This sculpture was hand cut into a bison shape around the crystal cavity. It has been given a Natural high polish to show off it's raw beauty, and to offer the bison collector a "one of a kind" item. These pictures don't do it justice; it is literally a collector's dream!

The Septarian Nodules were formed on the bottom of an ancient sea floor when the area was covered by the Gulf of Mexico. At the time, volcanic activity disturbed decaying sea life, making them roll around and collect mud. The water trapped inside the mud ball concretion is what caused the yellow calcite crystals.
