This flowerpot brings a smile to my face when I look at it and when I photograph it and as I'm posting all the pics! A simple flower form, yet elegant in its simplicity and the vibrant late summer colors of summer inspired this pot.

From start to finish, hypertufa takes a month of curing and a drying out process of 1-2 weeks and then if I'm adding paint and sealers, plus waiting for the perfect cloudy day to photo, time to go through photos and finally to post, well, it's a very long process and a lesson in patience.

I tell you all this to say that back then, the idea for this pot was the daisy... white petals, yellow center but when it came time to paint it, I was thinking late summer cone flowers in purple. However, I'm now harvesting all the beautiful and varying red hues of my differing tomato types and my gorgeous red Marconi peppers and I come across a photo of a red cone flower and made a mental note to plant on sale some for next year and thus my pot is now the color of late summer at my house in East TN. Anything you plant in this pot will be beautiful. Anywhere you place this pot will bring a smile to your face. Hypertufa is an indoor/outdoor material. Place it where it pleases you. Move it around from time to time. Artistically painted and Made with love from my house to yours.
