Antique, Gilded Age, Brilliant Cut Glass Covered Butter Dish, 1890's

This gorgeous heavy, covered butter dish is sure to make every meal a royal event. It would look wonderful just on display.
The entire piece stands 7" in height. The top of the dome has a knot which looks like connected hearts with is 2" in on sale height.
The bottom glass plate is 8" in diameter and 3/4" in height. The domed top fits into the bottom plate at 6 1/4" diameter. there are no cips, cracks or other visual defects. A stunning example of The Gilded Age.
