A Beautiful copperplate engraving by Ferdinand Laufberger (1829-1881). Three Angels Hand coloured in Watercolour. Depicting Imagination, Music, and Poetry. Titled (PHANTASIE, MUSIK, DICHTUNE). Engraved by Jeno Doby (Eugen).

There is a blind stamp at the very bottom of the sheet which reads (Gesellschaft für vervielfältigende kunst)
Translated: Society for Duplicating Arts. (fourth image).

Printed in Wien (Vienna) between 1853-1860.

Hand coloured by us in our studio in England.

Condition

Very Good, It is printed onto thin India paper, and laid onto a heavy weight Smooth Wove paper. The paper is an aged white colour with the occasional dusty marks, and soft creases. The colouring is strong and vibrant.
There are a few foxing marks in the paper, none on the image, and a small repaired tear on the bottom edge.
There is also a faint white mark approximately 2 inches long on the image in the right hand corner. Please see the fifth image.

Paper size is approximately 19 x 14 3/8 inches. (48.5 x 36 cm's)
The Image size to the plate mark is approximately 12 5/8 x 12 inches (32 x 30.7 cm's)
