Product code: Ouija Board Wood Hand Painted Amity Amityville House Horror Long Island on sale New York Rona;d DeFeo Scary Catholic Exorcist Exorcism Haunted Game

Hand painted solid wood Ouija board on spruce wood with my original painting of the Amity House at 112 Ocean Ave in Amity near Long Island, New York. Ronald DeFeo gunned down six of his family members in this house. The people that bought the house experienced all sorts of scary things. They had a Catholic Priest try to do an exorcism, which is why I have the medal of Saint Benedict on this board. He is it Catholic priest known for exorcisms and keeping evil out. I also have 2 Celtic crosses on the board.

I took a piece of spruce and cut it into a rectangular shape with rounded corners. After sanding it, I painted Gothic lettering on the board using black acrylic paint. I also painted the famous Amityville horror house. It is sealed with several layers of polyurethane.

Historical basis
On November 13, 1974, Ronald DeFeo Jr. shot and killed six members of his family at 112 Ocean Avenue, a large Dutch Colonial house situated in a suburban neighborhood in Amityville, on the south shore of Long Island, New York. He was convicted of second-degree murder in November 1975 and sentenced to six sentences of 25 years to life in prison. DeFeo would go on to die in custody in March 2021.

In December 1975, George and Kathy Lutz and their three children moved into the house. After 28 days, the Lutzes fled the house, claiming to have been terrorized by paranormal phenomena while living there.[2]

For the planchette (pointer), I used pine wood and cut it out with my band saw. I used a drill press to make the hole in it. I sanded it and stained it dark brown . On the back are 3 vintage on sale gray glass cabochons. These make it slide across the board easily.

It measures 16" across, 16" high and 3/4" thick. Thanks for looking!
