1920s Downton Abbey Bridal Hair Comb, Vintage Rhinestone Leaf Headpiece Art Deco Crystal Silver Feather on sale Accessory Lady Mary Head Piece KJL

Offering a breathtaking large bridal hair comb made from a high quality designer Kenneth Jay Lane vintage clear pave crystal rhinestone brooch. The comb features a on sale beautiful feather (or leaf) shaped silver setting that is completely encrusted with small round cut clear paved rhinestones. I love the shape and lacy design of this one not to mention the sparkle. This heirloom quality hair comb measures 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide by just under 2 inches (5 cm) not counting the teeth of the comb. The brooch used on this is in pristine vintage condition with all stones present, accounted for, and brilliant with sparkle. (The photos are making the metal look dark in spots. It's not; it is shiny and bright with no signs of wear). Though definitely in an Art Deco style, based on the signature, this is a more modern piece. The jewel has been securely attached to a new high quality silver plated hair comb. This hair comb was designed to stay in place. The jewel has been mounted at a slight angle to the comb base so that the hair can slide underneath the brooch to the top of the comb keeping it secure. (Though not as large, the shape and design of this comb reminds me very much of a hairpiece worn my Downton Abbey's Lady Mary as seen in last photo).
