It is thought by some that Toby Philpots, who was a "thirsty old soul" in an 18th century drinking song, was the inspiration for the traditional British Toby mug.

This mug has amazing detail, right down to the wrinkles on the man's face and his name written across the lower back in script.

This piece is on sale in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It measures approximately 6.25 inches tall.
