The materials I use for carving seals is a stone called ZUOQUO, which is unique in southwestern China. The surface of the material is as nice as jade with beautiful patterns, making it perfect for carving and very durable.

The differences between YIN and YANG.
They are different in the cutting ways. YIN means cutting from characters while YANG inscription starts from the background so as to highlight the words.

They are distinctive in ways of touching the oil, because the former does it in the background while the latter performs it in the structures and frames of characters.

The difference lies in the manifestation ways of characters. Words of intaglio get sunken while those of incised inscription are bulging to manifest the characters.
