The Armor Bronze Corporation, New York City reads the company label on the bottom. Very Good condition especially beings they are antiques. I've read up a little on these. The bookend sculptures are a work of art, craftmanship, really. Darby and Joan are based on an English Couple, who were together from 1650's to the 1700's. That's commitment! This is layers of bronze over a stone ceramic (cement). Darby measures 8"x4.5"x 4.5". Joan 7.5" x 4.5" x 4.5". The worse of the damages are lost of vibrant colors like the red for instance is very faint. Some paint was worn away but its also kind of neat too because the bronze really on sale shines thru in those spots. The details are incredible. Good quality and another great piece of history. Each piece estimates close to 4lbs.
