Colorful MCM on sale Bud Vase

Beautiful bud vase, 10.5” tall, employing a unique sgraffito technique to wonderful effect. Colors are sublime, condition is excellent aside from a very few small spots on the reverse side that may or may not have been part of the firing process—see photos. Reminiscent of the work of painter Cy Twombly, its vibrant on sale scribble-sgraffito work would make an exciting edition to any late 20th century studio art pottery collection.
