This antique book has charming illustrations as well as verse in decorative type and accompanied by charming drawings.

Internally, this copy is in Near Fine condition. The pages are clean, unmarked, and secure; there are no personal markings (there are some small erasures on the FFEP). There are two leaves tucked into the book (a partial leaf between the front endpapers and another shown in the photos; the latter one has left a "shadow" on the page).

Externally, the covers and edges have some soiling for a book of its age. There is rubbing to the corners and edges. The top edge is gilt, still quite bright.

Overall, it's a readable, collectible, and absolutely lovely book --a great find for collectors of antique books and/or those who enjoy poetry.
