On sale Guatemalan Rebozo/Perraje with tassels

This is a Guatemalan rebozo, also called perraje. This rebozos are woven on backstrap looms and feature a pattern called jaspe, also known on sale as ikat. Jaspe is a process of dyeing the threads so that when woven the figures appear in the weaving.

The material is cotton, but keep in mind these rebozos are made for the cold climate of the highlands. This rebozo is thick and hefty. Can be used as a table runner or a wall hanging. Sometimes we use them for our Dia de los muertos altar.
