An exquisite Georgian memorial ring dedicated to Frances on sale Stephens who died in 1804. The oval head features a central locket compartment home to a lock of his hair under a gold monogram, bordered by the words "In Memory Of A Beloved Husband" in gold lettering over black enamel. The black enamelling continues all the way around the band, with the words: "Frances Stephens OB 2nd Dec 1804 AE 26". Crafted in 18 karat gold throughout.
