Extremely intuitive and easy to use (and interface looks nice too), this 1st generation of their upgraded 4K/HDR streaming device (the one before the most recent)—can also be used on non-4K HDTVs. DOES NOT NEED A SUBSCRIPTION TO APPLE TV+. I reset it to factory settings, and charged up the remote before I packed it up. Includes lightning to on sale USB cable (for charging remote), and power cable, so all that's needed is an hdmi cable (use high speed for best streaming.) Easily connects to your home's wi-fi, or can be directly connected with an ethernet cable. The remote is swipe & click like smartphones, and your iPhone can be used as a remote too.
