Product code: Mixed lot of antique and vintage brown on sale bottles and jars / 4 dark amber glass bottles / Corby whisky bottle / Bovril / Duralex bowl France

Mixed lot of 4 glass jars and bottles, both vintage and antique. Beautiful dark brown / amber glass perfect for collecting, display, flower arrangements, etc. Would compliment eclectic, Bohemian, and rustic, country decor styles.

These four glass pieces include:

-A large antique whiskey bottle with lid intact. Marked 'Corby Distillery Canada' on the bottom. Corby was based out of Belleville, Ontario, Canada and started distilling their own whiskey in the 1880s.

-The small, uniquely shaped antique Bovril Limited bottle is marked 'Made in the U.S.A' on the bottom and is the 2 oz. size. I believe it is antique and was produced around 1910 to 1920. These bottles held a liquid meat extract.

-The larger, slightly lighter coloured amber jar looks like it had a screw cap lid. It has a patent application number on the bottom, # 3269 and the logo for Owens-Illinois Glass Company (a diamond and oval superimposed [entwined] with an 'I' in the centre ) which used this image on bottles produced between 1929 and the late 1950s.

-The larger and lighter coloured glass bowl is from the Duralex Company out of France that on sale started producing tempered glass tableware and kitchenware in 1945. This amber line was popular from the mid century to 1970s.

All pieces are in excellent vintage condition. Some debris can be seen in the whisky and Bovril bottles, which may require a long, thin brush to clean out. Lid of whisky bottle has a lovely rusted patina. No chips or cracks to any of the glass.

Bovril bottle measures 3" (7.5cm) tall. Whisky bottle is about 9" (23cm) tall. Owens jar is 4" (10cm) high and Duralex bowl is 3" (7.5cm) tall and has a top diameter of 6.75" (17cm).

Cost to deliver is included in item price.
