Speckled Cluster on sale Artisan Necklace

A one-off, one-of-a-kind necklace of clustered hand pinched balls of clay dusted with a fine spray of red and finished with a double strand of multi-sized white glass beads... not likely to be seen again.
These custom made beads were part of a special commission from a group of ceramic artisans and glass makers in South Africa. Sixteen artists and crafters were invited to use the beads as on sale inspiration to design anything that came to mind. A selection of items from each designer was curated for an exhibition titled Conversations from a Grain of sand a play on the origins of clay and glass.
Last Christmas I unearthed a box of leftover beads from my stash and above is the result.
