Just like on the farm, this was actually made from materials on hand: sycamore wood and a glass bottle. The sycamore wood is a symbol of strength and endurance, and has a beautiful grain... This vase was hand made by me. The base is kiln dried sycamore wood, hand turned to fit the glass cylinder, and finished with natural beeswax. The smokey green glass is a hand cut from a bottle, and has a great vintage looking mottled effect (see photos), and has been meticulously sanded to remove any sharp edges. the glass and wood base are affixed with industrial adhesive, for a lasting bond.
