1940s vintage, authentic WW2 (not reproduction) German Luftwaffe on sale Airfield Command Badge. Pinback pocket badge worn by Luftwaffe airfield command personnel. The face reads: FL.H.KDTR (Fliegerhorst Kommendanture) Munster Loddenheide 795 Münster Airfield was one of the first Luftwaffe airfields, established in 1935. It was captured by Allied Forces in April 1945. Reverse is stamped: Lehmann& Wundenberg Hannover (Name of manufacturer, based in Hanover) Measures about 1-3/4 inches in diameter. Painted brass (?) Excellent condition. I AM SELLING THIS PURELY AS AN HISTORICAL ITEM, AND DO NOT IN ANY WAY CONDONE, TOLERATE, OR APPROVE OF ANTI-SEMITISM IN ANY FORM.
