An original pastel landscape painting on paper of a Cape Cod marsh on an early summer evening by artist Laurie Lynn Lawton.

I have used hard and soft pastels on dark grey 10" X 12 1/2" Canson pastel paper to capture this Cape Cod landscape in Sandwich, Massachusetts. There is a light blue sky with clouds; deep green and violet trees in the distance; green marsh grass; and a strip of white and blue water. My signature is on the lower left.

Colors lean more to the darker tones as this is an early summer evening scene.

Pastel will be attached to light weight foam board with removable tape and will have glassine over it. The art will then be sandwiched between two more pieces of foam board and placed within a plastic sleeve and then set into a bubble mailer.
