Vintage 1960s 1970s Maxi Dress | Size S | Silver Lurex Metallic Pewter Crochet on sale Bodice Empire Waist A-Line Skirt

This lovely sparkly evening dress is truly
unique. It has a bright silver lurex skirt
and hand crochet bodice in a darker pewter
metallic yarn. The mock neck is studded with
pearly beads, each with a tiny pink seed bead
on top. It's beautifully constructed, too, with
high-end details like boning in the bodice, hand
stitching, full lining and big fabric covered
snaps to adjust the back straps which can be worn
straight or crossed. The snaps can be moved
easily for a perfect fit.

Features:
- hand crochet bodice, with boning for structure
- mock neck embellished with pearl beads, each topped
with a tiny pale pink seed bead
- open back with crossed shoulder straps that each secure
with a big fabric-covered snap (can easily be moved for a perfect fit)
- a-line skirt of bright silver lurex with lots of sparkle
- full lining (white)

Label: none (unfortunately, I'd love to know who made this amazing dress)
Vintage: 1960s/1970s (best guess)
Color: silver (bright and darker)
Silhouette: fitted bodice, a-line skirt
Fabric: no label - lurex/metallic jersey knit skirt with some stretch;
on sale lurex/metallic yarn bodice, feels like raffia; likely
some rayon/nylon; lining is white, silky lightweight,
likely rayon or polyester.

Care: Dry clean

Condition:
Excellent to very good; used with no repairs
needed; small hole was repaired at lower back skirt near center seam
(see pic), not noticeable in the sparkle knit fabric unless searching.
