"The Wasp - Latrobe" was created for a project titled "The Masquerade" which opened in galleries on April 6th, 2012. The project is a collection of photographs depicting models wearing on sale masks created by Chris Guarino. The idea behind "The Masquerade" project was to show the juxtaposition created between the bizarre masks and the beauty of the human form. Each mask creates its own character, and every character finds its home in its own dark environment. "The Wasp - Latrobe" was shot in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans, LA. A similar character can be seen in the portrait "The Wasp" in "The Masquerade" Collection.
This is the original photograph from this series. It is number 1 in a series of 50. There were no others framed in this manor. This is a unique product.
