Product code: Murano on sale Paperweight/Hand Blown Art Glass/Teardrop/Millefiori
This a very-unusual, vintage (age unknown), millefiori, art-glass paperweight. I see no signature, but it absolutely has to be made in Murano, Italy. It is a large piece measuring approximately 3 inches at the widest point by 6 inches in height. What a beauty. It features predominantly red/green/white, flower canes in a concentric pattern inside pointed/teardrop-shape, clear-glass with controlled bubbles. It is one-piece of handblown glass with a large, footed on sale base. The top and bottom of the paperweight are clear glass, but the reflection of the color-millefiori can be seen throughout.
