8" on sale tall Pallet Pine Segmented Peppermill (P25)

Bet you've never seen a peppermill like this before! This peppermill was handmade from "Pallet Pine", which means it was made using the wood from shipping pallets. I cut apart the pallets, cleaned and milled the boards, and glued the boards together into a big slab. When the glue was dry I cut the slab into slices, mixed the slices up and glued them back together. I repeated this process two more times then finally cut the peppermill blanks from the slab.

Pallet wood has character unlike any tree. It can have holes from nails, black iron staining from the nails, splits, cracks, and other defects. I've removed most of the defects but left some of the iron staining and other areas for the looks. Each piece of wood in the pallet is unique, forget consistent grain, figure, or color. Put these all together and that is what makes this mill a one-of-a-kind.

The pictures show the mill from all 4 sides. The mill measures 8" tall.

I use a Deluxe Stainless Steel grinding mechanism which is durable, high quality, requires no maintenance, and is made in the USA. The mechanism will not corrode and should last a lifetime. This mill should only be used with pepper, never salt.

The details on my peppermills extend beyond just the outside. The bottom is finished to the same high standards and detail as the rest of the mill. The top turns smoothly and freely - you will never have a squeaky or binding top in any of my mills. The fit between the head and body is perfect - just as you would expect an heirloom should be!
