This amazing Victorian carved and ornate wood picture frame is so gorgeous!! It is in excellent antique condition and ready to feature your own beautiful artwork and glass.
The frame measures 16 3/4” wide x 29” on sale long overall. The heavily embellished carved wood frame with detailed gilt fillet is approximately 3” wide overall and the inside of the rabbet for placing your artwork is 10” wide x 23” long. Please note there is no glass included with this frame.
The antique patina on this frame is beautiful and shows the amazing history of the piece. There are a few flakes and very small voids to the gilt gesso liner, as is typical of frames from the Victorian period.
