Product: Made to Order Keepsake Memory Bear

This is a memory bear made from your loved one's clothing (someone who has passed, sports jerseys, kids first ballet costumes, maternity clothing, etc.), personal fabric, or any other material deemed suitable. These make wonderful gifts to yourself, family, and friends that can be passed down to future generations. All images from this post are from previous customers.

Fabric : You send garments/fabric , if you are unsure of what is workable we can communicate by email or phone to discuss (see below)

Size : Bears are approximately 17" Height x 10" Width (small) , custom sizes are available with additional fees

How does the process work?

1. At checkout include a message with any additional instructions you may have for your teddy bear.
2. After checkout I will reach out and send you my mailing address in addition to any follow up questions I may have based on the information you shared. Send me all materials you want included in on sale the bear!
3. Shipping will be within 4-6 weeks from the receipt of delivery of your material/garments.
*Keep in mind orders will be worked on in the order the material/garments arrive - NOT the date of purchase * By purchasing this listing, you agree to the time frame given. However if you need it sooner you can contact me and discuss possible rush options and the fees that apply.

WHAT I CAN WORK WITH:

There isn't much I will turn away however some materials are more difficult to work with so additional fees could apply.
All fabrics are backed with a lightweight fusible to give them durability over time and to prevent skewing when cut off grain.

Materials included with listing price: T-shirts, cotton dress shirts, blouses, trousers, lightweight blankets, etc.

Materials that will require additional fees: Furs, lace, and sheer fabrics. Fur requires special care when deconstructed and reconstructed into a new product. Lace/sheer fabrics require an extra layer of fabric so that you can't see through the material to the stuffing.

Materials I CAN'T work with: Bulky materials, sequins, undergarments, and some beaded materials.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED:

Size small and medium adult clothing requires 2 pieces of clothing

Size large or bigger adult clothing requires 1 piece of clothing.

If you would like multiple pieces of clothing used on a bear please specify that on the notes section while ordering.

If sending small baby items...

If sending small baby clothes i.e. 0-3 months please provide at least 12 items ; 6-12 months please send 10 ; 18-24 months please send 8 items ; 2T-6 please send 6-8 items ; sizes 7-12 please send 4-5 items


NOTE- I do not wash your garments! The bear will be made in my SMOKE -FREE studio.


Please note if any information requested is missing, your order will not be completed. We will reach out to you via email in order to retrieve any missing information and with the details for shipping your clothing . Please check your junk or spam folders within 48 hours after you purchase if you do not see a confirmation email from us in your inbox. Orders placed on Friday night and over the weekend will receive a confirmation email with the details for shipping your clothing the following business day.
