A beautiful and detailed hand painted Ouija board on spruce wood. I start out with a plain piece of wood and cut it down to the size I want. After cutting and sanding it, I begin the creative process! I use a pencil to sketch the design directly onto the wood. For this board, I made a border of very detailed Celtic knots and Gothic Victorian designs. I also painted Celtic style lettering and included Yes, No, Not Sure, and Goodbye in each of the four corners of the board. in the middle, I painted a landscape of dark trees with a Blood Moon in the sky. In the foreground is a raven sitting on a tree branch. This board turned out so beautiful! It took on sale me many, many hours to design it, but it was well worth it!

I used acrylic paint, then sealed the board with several layers of polyurethane. The pointer or planchette is made of spruce and has 3 vintage orange glass cabochons on the back for easy sliding across the board. It is also sealed with polyurethane, and has a 1" hole drilled in the middle of it so you can see the letter or number it is over.

The board measures 16.5" x 16" x 3/4" thick.

I live in the beautiful state of Washington on a tree farm. I spend my days drawing and painting and especially love to design on of a kind ouija boards! One of my ouija boards was on an episode of Ghost Adventures back in 2014. It was the Zo Zo Demon episode.
