Beautiful Antique on sale Silverware, Cased Spoons and Tongs, Set of Six, Coffee Spoons, Apostle Handles, Sugar Tongs, James Dixon, Sterling Silver

On offer is this lovely set of cased spoons and tongs. on sale All seven items are in good condition overall, the silver shines up well still - light scuffs and scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the set.

They're of traditional form, beautifully decorated with a twisted / spiral handle stem section and religious apostle figure terminal - the detailing is of a good standard which displays ever so well still.

Hallmarked the same for Sheffield, 1901 and the maker James Dixon.

They measure 11.3cm (4 and 1/2 inches) in length, weigh collectively 97.8g and come presented in their original fitted case which is also in good order - the purple lining contrasts with the sterling silver really well. Notable scuffs over the exterior as well as a notable crack to the wooden body across the underside area.

A lovely set of silverware ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
